QUICK QUESTIONS? SORTED.

I’ve just graduated and haven’t started a job yet – can I still take part?

Yes! If you’re currently job hunting or in between roles, you’re still eligible. We’ll help place you into a team with other Collegiate Series grads or connect you with companies already competing. There’s also two individual titles for you to choose from, EA FC and Chess. Stay in the scene and build some powerful new networks while you’re at it.

I’m new at my company and don’t know any other gamers – how do I find teammates?

You’re not alone. Many grads feel the same when starting out. If you’re in Big Tech then your best bet is to share the info within your internal Slack channel for community interests, odds on there’s a gaming community there. Those in startups then take a look at the members Slack Workspace (or equivalent), there will be a #general channel which you can post in and get the conversation going. That assumes you’re not playing EA FC or Chess - perfect for individuals!

We just don’t have enough gamers in my company so how can I get involved?

As long as you’ve got 60% of the team from your company (i.e. 3 of 5 players for Valorant) then you’re goof to go, we’ll help find the rest. If not then we’ve got two options for you. Either reconnect with those you studied alongside/tap into your network and build an ‘Industry Team’ representing your industry (i.e. teachers, healthcare workers), or register as a solo player and we’ll match you with a team.

I’m interested but not sure how to pitch it internally – can you help?

Absolutely. Whether you need help shaping a proposal or want to loop us into a call or email with your team, we’re here to support. Just drop us a message at [email protected] and we’ll help you get it across the line.

Who should I speak to inside my company to make this happen?

Start with your graduate programme leader, line manager, or someone in your HR or People Team. They’re often looking for fun, team-driven initiatives – especially ones that help new hires settle in. We’re happy to help get things moving.
