This is just a few of them…
Who can play in Office Showdown?
Anyone based in Ireland (North or South) who’s representing a company, organisation, startup, or entering as an approved alumni wildcard. Built for both males and females. Mixed-skill teams welcome.
Can we expense this as team building?
Many teams do. Check with your Manager. It’s culture, wellness and visibility all rolled into one!
Do we need top-end hardware?
Not at all. Standard gaming rigs or laptops with good connectivity will do the job for most titles.
Can I enter without a full team?
Yes! We’re going to build a pool of solo players to help create cover for those moments in life where a project takes priority or childcare falls through (for some). If you’re a solo player, Collegiate Series Alumni we’ll help match you with a squad to fill the gap. There’s room for everyone.
What is the format of the tournaments?
Office Showdown hosts two tournaments each year, first one Winter (September to November) and the second in Spring (March to May). Each tournament spans 8 weeks with games scheduled weekly, culminating in an in-person LAN finals event.
Forget awkward offsites and stale socials. This is team-building that, speaks your team’s language and fits flexibly into your week. It also builds culture, collaboration and even visibility across departments.
Whether you’re remote-first, hybrid, or all-in-office, the one thing that scales? Competitive fun.
