Got questions? We’ve got answers. Whether it’s rules, tech issues, scheduling conflicts, or anything in between, this section has you covered.
How are matches structured?
Each game has a set format:
Full match formats, rules, and settings are outlined in the Game Titles & Format section.
What happens if a team doesn’t show up?
Teams must be ready 10 minutes before match start time. If a team is missing players, they have a 10-minute grace period before forfeiting the match.
Can I substitute players?
Yes! Each team can have up to two substitute players who can step in between matches. Once a match starts, mid-game substitutions are not allowed. For more detail on how to do this check out the guide here on Challengermode.
Are there any banned champions, agents, maps, or weapons?
Any restrictions will be communicated in advance and listed in the Game Titles & Format section. Make sure to check regularly for updates!
What if my game crashes mid-match?
If a player disconnects, they must reconnect as quickly as possible. In extreme cases (server crashes, major bugs), a match restart may be considered at the admin’s discretion.
I’m experiencing lag—what should I do?
What happens if servers go down?
If the game’s servers crash or go down mid-match, the match will be rescheduled. We’ll update all teams via Discord and email.
What if I can’t make my scheduled match?
Teams must play at their scheduled times. If your team has an unavoidable issue, you must notify tournament admins at least 48 hours in advance. Reschedules are not guaranteed and will be reviewed case by case.
Can I request a different match time?
Only under exceptional circumstances. Rescheduling requests must be submitted through the official reschedule request form (link provided in the Help Centre).
What if a match goes longer than expected?
Teams should allow for a 30-minute buffer in case of delays. If matches run excessively long, tournament admins may adjust the schedule accordingly.
Will all matches be streamed?
No, only select matches will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch. A schedule of featured games will be released in advance.
