The keyboards have cooled, the monitors have dimmed, and the winners have claimed their glory. The Office Showdown 2025 Pilot Series has officially come to a thrilling close and we’re proud of what we’ve made happen.
Esports in Ireland is booming, especially in Colleges and Universities, but once gamers enter the workforce, there’s no clear outlet for inter-company competition. This is why Office Showdown was created - to fill that gap.
This Pilot Series demonstrated that esports can be used as a modern tool to boost company culture, engagement and wellbeing - the camaraderie and rivalry was on show for everyone to see.
We now find ourselves reviewing both the successes and leanings as we look towards winter excited about how the series will evolve…

🏆 The Champions of the Pilot Series
After weeks of fierce competition, four teams stood tall across our featured titles:
Rocket League – 🥇 Dogpatch Labs
The back and fourth rivalry between Logitech G and Dogpatch Labs ended on the pitch with a 4-1 victory in the favour of the Dublin startup hub.League of Legends – 🥇 Mixed Alumni
They were dominant throughout and that continued in the final, though it was a slog of a game the Ireland Collegiate Alumni took home the W over Logitech G.Valorant – 🥇 Mixed Alumni
The Alumni struck again, taking both Lotus and Icebox to secure another champions title this time over our very own Nativz Gaming roster.Counter-Strike 2 – 🥇 GG Machines
Though a less exciting way to win, GG Machines became our Counter-Strike 2 champions as their opponents The NI Health Service decided to forfeit.
